Friday night, October 3rd, Onehope Refuge held its very first Benefit — and what a beautiful display of God’s lavish grace and goodness it was! From beginning to end, His presence was unmistakable. The evening celebrated His redemptive work and the vision He’s unfolding for the future — a ministry campus equipped to serve 8 to 10 families at a time, offering safety, hope, and the transforming love of Christ.
We were deeply moved by the testimony of Survivor Leader, Jasmine Grace Marino, who shared how Jesus rescued her from years of exploitation and gave her new life. Today, she is helping other women discover the same freedom and hope that can only be found in Him.
Eighty people attended the event, and God opened the storehouses — providing $57,211.12 in one night! His faithfulness continues to amaze us, and we are so thankful for everyone who responded to His prompting to give.
We are also grateful to share that Onehope Refuge is an affiliate ministry of Send Relief, the compassion arm of the North American Mission Board. Send Relief serves around the world by meeting both physical and spiritual needs in Jesus’ name, and one of its five ministry pillars is addressing human trafficking.
Through this partnership, Jill Kearney, the Executive Director, is an endorsed Compassion Ministry Catalyst Missionary, dedicated to the ongoing work God is doing through Onehope Refuge. This affiliation strengthens our ability to serve survivors with excellence and extend the hope of Christ even further into the darkness of exploitation. We are deeply thankful for how the Lord continues to connect and equip His people for His mission.
And perhaps most joyfully — one of the moms in our care was baptized just a few weeks ago! We praise God for her public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. Heaven rejoices over her “yes” to Him!
