Mercy Means

“I am so deeply grateful for the forgiveness I have received that I cannot help offering you the same.”

— New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp

“I can remember saying in devotion, ‘That person does not deserve my forgiveness,’” KF shared recently during our time together.

We had been reading from New Morning Mercies, reflecting on Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

KF went on to say that just four months ago, she could not believe she had spoken words she now describes as “awful.” What a beautiful demonstration of God’s work. KF is a new believer—recently baptized—and just celebrated her very first Resurrection Sunday.

Her words were balm to my soul.

We are witnessing transformation. Her heart is softening. The Word is taking root. Growth is happening. Pruning is evident. And we know this can only be the work of the Holy Spirit.

Praise God for the transforming power at work through the ministry of Onehope Refuge.

We are also grateful for answered prayer and continued opportunity. One of our moms has started a new job—what a gift. The baby steps, though wobbly at first, are becoming steadier each day as she continues in her healing journey.

Our full praises and prayer requests report is located at the bottom of the page in addition to our current Amazon Wishlist. Thank you for walking alongside us and supporting this work. Please know that your investment is eternal—treasure being stored up in heaven.

To Him be the glory,
