By the grace of God, March 1, 2024, Onehope Refuge opened its doors! Thank you for the many prayer warriors who have been on this journey with us since February of 2022. We cherish the notebook of the praises and requests we have kept along the way and it will forever remind us of God’s faithfulness.
In one week, we received 9 phone calls from referring agencies to shelter 11 mothers totaling 14 children ranging from 0 – 9 years old. Three of the mothers were minors. These calls came in from four different states needing our services. We are only able to serve up to three families at a time. Tragically, this is a sober reminder of the need for a safe place and the horror that is going on in our world, country, state and cities. Please be in prayer for our team as we speak with the referring agencies and make decisions about those we receive into our care and for the women and their children who are trying to escape.
PRAYER
Please pray the gospel will remain at the center of all we do. (1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
